Aaron Davidman is the Artistic Director of The Jewish Theatre San Francisco. An actor, writer and director, Aaron co-wrote and directed the international collaboration Blood Relative about the Israeli-Palestinian story. He directed Golda’s Balcony at Theatreworks and TJT’s critically acclaimed production of Death Of A Salesman. Among other projects at TJT he originated the role of Momik in the Kennedy Center award winning play See Under: Love based on the novel by David Grossman and co-wrote and performed in God’s Donkey: A Play on Moses. He was voted Best Director of 2007 in the East Bay Express for directing the world premiere of Marcus Gardley’s Love Is A Dream House in Lorin with Shotgun Players in Berkeley who also received honors for Best Play. His new solo play, A Jerusalem Between Us, commissioned by Theatre J in Washington DC and supported in part by the Sundance Institute Theatre Program, has recieved readings nationally. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and received his formal theatrical training at Carnegie Mellon University. He is a recipient of the New Generations Fellowship from Theatre Communications Group.
